PDT System
A lifetime of extensive sun exposure often leads to chronic sun damage.
Our PDT system achieves high effectiveness in their treatment.
The use of artificial daylight in phototherapy enables a low-pain
treatment that can be performed in a controlled and effective manner at any time, regardless of weather conditions. In this way, our PDT system overcomes the disadvantages of both natural sunlight PDT
and conventional red-light PDT.

photodynamic therapy
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) uses the interaction between light and a special photosensitizer and has become an established and widely used treatment approach in dermatology. Indoor daylight PDT with artificial light has established itself as a low-pain and controllable method of phototherapy.
The precisely adjustable light doses and the controlled activation of
the photosensitizer ensure a treatment that is comfortable and
independent of weather conditions.

“An important component for the gentle but consistently effective, if necessary laser-assisted, artificial daylight PDT of large areas. This currently most innovative form of PDT enables standardized and therefore safe therapy throughout the year.“

INDOOR DAYLIGHT PDT
Controlled and gentle with artificial daylight
Our PDT system exclusively emits those components of natural sunlight that are necessary
for PDT. The modulated penetration depth of the three light colors allows for the controlled,
layer-by-layer activation of accumulated PpIX. Artificial daylight PDT enables the
application of high light doses that are rarely achievable with natural light in northern latitudes.
PROVEN IN EVERYDAY PRACTICE
Effective and gentle
Compared to conventional daylight PDT lamps, treatment with our PDT system is less painful for most patients.
Large-area application
A large, adjustable treatment area of 500 cm² enables coverage of all lesions on the scalp with a single treatment.
Range of Applications
Additional treatment options for wound healing and acne make our PDT system a versatile and adaptable device.
