German Medical Engineering is dedicated to developing medical laser and light systems that enable genuine transformation. We believe in natural, authentic skin renewal, free from artificial, exaggerated optimization.

Just as a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, clinical skin improvements result from structured developmental processes. Our systems promote:

  • Activation of natural repair mechanisms
  • Structural development of the skin
  • Continuous improvement throughout the course of treatment

Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory condition that primarily manifests as noticeable, diffuse redness on the face. Laser treatment for rosacea relies on a wavelength that is selectively absorbed by red blood pigments. During treatment the red blood vessel heats up and disappears.

Laser treatment can be challenging for doctors, as success can vary depending on the patient’s skin type. The new concept of selective fractional photothermolysis (SFP™) introduces a new element in the form of fractional application, which can contribute to both treatment success and safety.

Results may vary from person to person. The pictures shown depict the results for a single patient and are not representative of all treatments.

Post Acne Erythema

Post-acne erythema is a persistent vascular effect of active acne and often appears on the facial area in the form of noticeable reddish patches. Laser treatment with a selective wavelength that targets the red blood pigment can offer a long-lasting and effective solution.

The new concept of selective fractional photothermolysis (SFP™) of FlexSys® Evo introduces a new element in the form of fractional application, which can contribute to both treatment success and safety.

Melasma

Melasma is a form of benign pigmented lesion. It is characterized by dark brown to gray patches, usually on the face. Its main causes are hormonal changes, genetic predisposition, and exposure to UV radiation, typically from sunlight. In laser treatment for melasma, a selective wavelength is used that is absorbed by the skin pigment melanin.

The success of the treatment often depends on the skin type of the patient. With the yellow laser module of the FlexSys EVO, even darker skin types can be safely treated thanks to fractional application.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is one of the most widespread autoimmune-mediated inflammatory diseases. The disease is hereditary and usually occurs chronically or in recurrent phases. The main symptom is the excessive production of skin cells, resulting in the typical raised, reddened plaques.

Treatment of the inflamed areas with UV-B light can lead to a normalization of the formation rate of skin cells and an improvement of plaque formation.

Vitiligo

Vitiligo is a chronic skin disease that manifests as light, non-pigmented skin patches. For reasons that are largely unknown, the pigment-forming cells (Melanocytes) of the skin and hair are destroyed, causing the production of the pigment melanin to dry up.

Phototherapy is usually used to treat Vitiligo. The affected skin areas are treated with UV-B light, which is designed to stimulate the reproduction and growth of melanocytes. This can contribute to the re-pigmentation of the affected areas.

Skin Rejuvenation

In laser rejuvenation treatments, laser energy is precisely applied without damaging the surface layer of the skin. This is achieved by creating micro-fine heat channels that stimulate the body’s own collagen production. This fine-fibered protein ensures elastic and supple skin.

For treating natural skin aging, such as wrinkles, resurfacing is a minimally invasive, cost-effective, and natural aesthetic procedure. Resurfacing treatments are also suitable for medical indications such as scars.

Acne Scars

Scar tissue is produced by the body during the healing process of skin injuries. Acne scars, as remnants of active acne, can take different forms and are often accompanied by additional redness. FlexSys Evo can address both the texture and coloration of acne scars.

The fractional non-ablative infrared laser improves skin texture by stimulating collagen formation. Accompanying redness is specifically treated with the yellow laser. Thanks to fractional application, both laser treatments can be performed with a high degree of clinical safety for all skin types.

Photodynamic Therapy

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) uses the interaction between light and a special photosensitizer and has become indispensable for the treatment of tumors and tumor precursors of “white skin cancer”. Indoor daylight PDT with artificial light has established itself as a low-pain and controllable method of phototherapy.

The precisely adjustable light doses and the controlled activation of the photosensitizer ensure a treatment that is comfortable and independent of weather conditions.

Hair Removal

For most people, hair removal is purely a cosmetic procedure. But for patients with excessive hair growth or dark hair on fair skin, laser hair removal offers a way to provide lasting relief from psychological distress. Laser hair removal uses a wavelength that is absorbed by the hair pigment melanin. In this process, hair is eliminated directly at the root, which leads to a lasting and significant reduction in hair growth after a few treatments.

With the linear scanning concept, our hair removal laser LinScan relies on a innovative technical approach that ensures comfortable and effective hair removal.
