The new generation of modular laser platforms by German Medical Engineering reflects true confidence in the versatility of a laser system – without any compromises.

FlexSys® Evo opens up a wide range of commonly requested indications through three specialized laser modules for single or combination treatments.

Designed to give you the confidence you need to achieve results you trust.

Diffuse
Redness/Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory condition that primarily manifests as noticeable, diffuse redness on the face. Laser treatment for rosacea relies on a wavelength that is selectively absorbed by red blood pigments. During treatment the red blood vessel heats up and disappears.

Laser treatment can be challenging for doctors, as success can vary depending on the patient’s skin type. The new concept of selective fractional photothermolysis (SFP™) introduces a new element in the form of fractional application, which can contribute to both treatment success and safety.

Skin Rejuvenation

In laser rejuvenation treatments, laser energy is precisely applied without damaging the surface layer of the skin. This is achieved by creating micro-fine heat channels that stimulate the body’s own collagen production. This fine-fibered protein ensures elastic and supple skin.

For treating natural skin aging, such as wrinkles, resurfacing is a minimally invasive, cost-effective, and natural aesthetic procedure. Resurfacing treatments are also suitable for medical indications such as scars.

Acne Scars

Scar tissue is produced by the body during the healing process of skin injuries. Acne scars, as remnants of active acne, can take different forms and are often accompanied by additional redness. FlexSys Evo can address both the texture and coloration of acne scars.

The fractional non-ablative infrared laser improves skin texture by stimulating collagen formation. Accompanying redness is specifically treated with the yellow laser. Thanks to fractional application, both laser treatments can be performed with a high degree of clinical safety for all skin types.

Melasma

Melasma is a form of benign pigmented lesion. It is characterized by dark brown to gray patches, usually on the face. Its main causes are hormonal changes, genetic predisposition, and exposure to UV radiation, typically from sunlight. In laser treatment for melasma, a selective wavelength is used that is absorbed by the skin pigment melanin.

The success of the treatment often depends on the skin type of the patient. With the yellow laser module of the FlexSys EVO, even darker skin types can be safely treated thanks to fractional application.

Skin Tightening

Laser skin tightening is a cosmetic treatment that uses the natural healing response of the body to improve the appearance of the skin. By specifically heating the relevant layer of skin, it contracts existing collagen fibers while also stimulating the long-term production of new collagen. This creates a smooth and youthful appearance.

Fractional treatment with the non-ablative laser module of the FlexSys® Evo has the advantage that the laser passes through the outer layer of the skin without damaging it, which effectively reduces healing time.

Telangiectasia

Telangiectasias, also known as “spider veins,” are dilated or broken blood vessels near the surface of the skin. They usually appear as fine pink or red veins.

Treatment with the FlexSys® Evo uses a selective laser that specifically eliminates the redness without damaging the surrounding tissue. The wavelength of the laser is specifically chosen to ensure that the energy is absorbed only by the red blood pigment in the vein.

Scars

Scar tissue is produced as a result from the wound healing process of skin layer injuries. Depending on the depth and type of a skin injury, scars can appear as structural irregularities, hardenings or even agglutinations of the skin.

Particularly in noticeable areas of the body such as the face, scars can be troublesome for those affected. Laser treatment can reduce the visibility of scars. To conceal the scarred or damaged skin cells, new collagen formation is stimulated by a non-ablative fractional laser. Due to the structural properties of collagen, the scar tissue becomes less distinguishable from the surrounding skin.

Pigmented Lesions

Benign pigmented lesions are caused by localized concentrations of melanin or pigment-producing cells. The most common types include age spots and freckles. Since they usually do not pose a medical risk, their removal is purely a cosmetic procedure.

Selective laser modules of the FlexSys® Evo use a specific wavelength that is strongly absorbed by melanin. This breaks down the pigment while leaving the surrounding skin intact.
