FlexSys® Training Tour 2025: Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur
Intensive training, close exchange and active partnership in Southeast Asia
In May 2025, Johanna Haas, Head of Clinical & Marketing at GME, visited Southeast Asia to train our local partners in the use of the modular laser platform FlexSys®. The two-week trip focused on clinical and product training as well as direct exchange with doctors and distributors.
Distributors in all the countries visited were well prepared, highly motivated and took plenty of time for an intensive, professional exchange. We thank all our partners for their welcoming and genuine hospitality!
Direct contact with the users was particularly valuable: Talking to the doctors allowed us to explore practical experiences, clinical matters and regional market needs in greater depth.
Thailand – Bangkok:
In Bangkok with our partner AESLA’s team
Our trip started in Bangkok with an intensive application training session with our partner AESLA. Theory units and practical hands-on sessions boosted the knowledge and confidence of the clinical, marketing and sales teams in handling FlexSys®. Meeting Dr. Wichai of the renowned Dr. Wichai Clinic, where an exciting exchange on current and future applications of the laser took place, was a particular highlight.
Indonesia – Jakarta:

The next stop was a visit to our Indonesian partner Aexel Bio Medis in Jakarta. The visit to Jakarta began with extensive theoretical and practical training for our partner’s highly committed clinical team. We also had the opportunity to engage in an intensive and practical exchange with both experienced FlexSys users and potential new customers.
Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City:
Our vietnamese partner ACG organized a great congress day all about the FlexSys®
We met the team from our new partner ACG in person for the first time in Vietnam. At a superbly organized congress day with around 100 participants, the range of applications of the FlexSys® wavelengths 577 nm and 1550 nm were presented. A hands-on workshop with 15 doctors and ACG employees completed the program. The exchange about local skin types and market potential was particularly exciting. Finally, we enjoyed a culinary highlight during the team lunch with a summer roll “workshop”.
Singapore:
FlexSys® expert Dr. Don Lau with the Servicom team
The focus at our Singaporean partner Servicom was on the use of FlexSys® in premium clinics. As part of intensive training sessions, we were able to train both existing and potential new users on the device. Our special thanks go to long-time FlexSys® user Dr. Don Lau, who provided valuable insights into his clinical work. Thanks to our partner, we were also treated with local delicacies such as Laksa.
Malaysia – Kuala Lumpur:
At the FlexSys® workshop hosted by Dr. Terry Lee Lean Hiap
In Kuala Lumpur, we had the pleasure of hosting a FlexSys® workshop with prospective and existing customers in collaboration with our partner AesD International. Dr. Terry Lee Lean Hiap kindly made his clinic available to us as a workshop location. The local team also organized a short sightseeing trip through the city, which made for a nice end to this intensive and successful trip.
Our trip to Southeast Asia was characterized by professionalism, close cooperation and a warm welcome. Direct contact with the partners and users not only provided valuable feedback on the clinical application but also further strengthened the regional relevance of FlexSys®.
