GME at FOBI 2024

Between the tenth and twelfth of July, the 29th Fortbildungswoche für praktische Dermatologie und Venerologie returned to Munich. Once again, the biennial event offered an exciting programme of workshops, seminars and symposia.

In addition, over 100 exhibitors from all over the world informed the visitors about the latest developments and product innovations in the fields of dermatology and venereology. We at German Medical Engineering were on site this year with two booths.

At the MultiLite® booth, visitors were heading for the ‘safe harbour for photodynamic therapy’ this year. With unrivalled quality and a terrific expo deal, MultiLite® easily outshone the competition. Once again, we were able to impress many new customers with Germany’s favored PDT system.

At our second booth, we showcased the new treatment concept of selective fractional photothermolysis (SFP™) using our modular FlexSys® platform system. For the treatment of vascular indications such as rosacea, SFP™ combines high efficacy with a very low-risk application. SFP™ thus achieves full-surface results in a short time without undesirable side effects.

Our show concept with two theme-based booths was a complete success and attracted lots of visitors. We are particularly grateful for the lively dialogue with interested individuals, competitors and cooperation partners as well as for the productive discussions with leading key opinion leaders.

Special thanks go to the organisers and show managers for the excellent organisation and to our booth constructors for their support. We are very much looking forward to the return of the event to Munich in 2026.
