GME at Dubai Derma 2022
The 22nd Dubai Derma took place in late February – we were there with a booth and hosted the first public FlexSys workshop.
The 22nd Dubai Derma once again brought together interested parties and industry experts in dermatology, skin care and laser technology from around the world between February the 27th and March the third, 2022. The main event of the conference was a broad line-up of technical talks, presentations and workshops.
The exhibition, which took place parallel to the conference, offered an international audience the opportunity to get to know the latest dermatological products and devices. We also took advantage of this opportunity and were present with our own booth.
Managing Director Dr. Stefan Schulze, Dr. Dieter Manstein (Assistant Professor of Dermatology, Harvard Medical School) and Dr. Swapnil Shah discussed exciting new applications of the FlexSys wavelengths 755 nm and 1550 nm.
Our exhibition presence focused on the TwinScan and the new FlexSys modular platform system – two devices that have found great favor in the Middle East. Thanks to the long-term partnership with local sales representatives, GME was able to make an excellent name for itself in the region in the run-up to the conference.
First public FlexSys workshop
On the evening of February 28, there was a special highlight for around 30 interested attendees – the first public workshop on the new FlexSys modular platform. GME Managing Director Dr. Stefan Schulze opened the workshop with general information and details on the modular concept of the device.

Dr. Schulze then turned the floor over to Dr. Swapnil Shah, Consultant Dermatologist operating his own clinic in India. Dr. Shah’s panel focused on applications of the FlexSys Yellow 577 nm and Infrared 1550 nm laser modules. Presenting impressive clinical results from his practice, Dr. Shah illustrated the treatment success of the FlexSys.
Finally, the application of the UVB modules of the FlexSys was explained by Engineer Khaleed Alasad, who as a sales representative for GME already has a wealth of experience in excimer treatments with the FlexSys. After the workshop, the speakers were available for questions and conversations with the attendees.
